Modelling beeswax is totally solid in its form when you receive it.

To prepare a piece of modelling beeswax for use just cut off a small piece, (no bigger then a quarter of a round block), fill a mug half full with hot tap water, drop the wax in and let sit for 2-5 minutes.

NOTE - Please DO NOT heat or microwave your modelling beeswax or the water that you will be putting your modelling beeswax into. Use hot tap water only and then add a piece of modelling beeswax to your dish.

The modelling beeswax warms with your body temperature and will maintain totally pliable when being handled. It can be shaped and carved as you wish. You can even mix colors to make new ones. The creations that are formed can be left and harden a little once more, but can be squished and re-form again and again.
